Paris Meeting on Pharmaceuticals as a Commons

Abundance attended the fifth international meeting of the Pharmaceuticals as a Commons network in Paris this week. The project aims to establish first one and then a network of commonly owned and governed pharmaceutical production factories embedded within local health communities, alongside other compatible models. Abundance ran a workshop at the meeting to further develop the Public-Common Partnership model for both individual units and the network as whole. While specific sites in France are currently being explored the model will have potential much further afield.
